School

And here we are up-to-date:

How cool would it be to go to school in a castle? Well the kids that go to Song Town HuaMei School can do just that. I'm told it's one of the best schools in the area. Is that helped by the fact that it's built like a castle and sited right next to a theme park?

We send the brightest and the best (and many who are neither bright nor good but who's parents have bucket loads of cash) to esteemed insitutions which are housed in historic buildings.
Imagine how much more other kids might enjoy going to school if we themed the schools - none of this City Technology College stuff - what about the City Technical Citadel or the local Grammar Fortress?

Unfortunately, as you know, a lot of buildings here are all concrete and tiles. This being no exception. But I was talking about the principle rather than the exact same thing.

You have to bear in mind that the local kids have never seen a 800 year old English University or Caernarvon Castle or the Houses or Parliament, etc. to know what a real, grand-old building might look like.
